iPhone 6 undergoes a ‘space’ drop test and it surprisingly survives
An iPhone 6 was dropped from 100,000 feet, almost the edge of the space. And, it survived!
In order to promote its new case, Urban Armor Gear, a California-based company, sent the phone into the space, attached on a rig with a parachute, a weather balloon, GPS locator and two GoPro cameras.
The company had conducted this experiment in November and has now released the incredible video.

“Our cases already meet military drop-test standards, but now we can officially say that they are space tested as well,” reportedly Steve Armstrong, co-founder of UAG said.
The rig broke as it crashed on the land, but the device survived. This looks like an interesting and unique way to promote a product.
Apple launched its latest iPhone iterations, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, late last year. The new devices have triggered high sales record for the company. You can also take a look at the iFixit teardown of the iPhone 6 Plus.
